I am making a documentary film I will be my community of interest in this creative process as I support and contextualize it. Within my area of research, I will be using phenomenology in my experiences of being immersed in the ocean. I will ask questions such as how interaction with the ocean transforms us as individuals. And if so, how? By living and sharing experiences, by studying my reactions to direct contact with the ocean and how these reactions manifest, I will use phenomenological research, as this will be the catalyst for my dialogues and narratives, and will be my actual understanding and insight into the interactions between us and the ocean
